Dr. Rodney Orr
From the day Dr. Adadevoh shared the vision of ALMA with me while I was a PhD student I was intrigued by the magnitude of the vision. To transform Africa into a first world continent of leaders of integrity was a big challenge. It was great to have the help of Ken and Emily Stravens and Mike and Helen Wicker to get started in 1999. Later Terry Garde, Bekele Shanko, Josh Yego, Misheck Manyumwa, Victor Cole and Willy Addai helped us formulate the vision. Leading ALMA has been the best job in the whole world to me.
